This term, children in Bases 11 and 12 have their PE lessons on a Monday and Wednesday.
Monday – Boccia (New Age Kurling) (indoor)
Wednesday – Basketball (outdoor)
Children will need a PE kit consisting of a plain white t-shirt and plain black shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms.
Children will also need suitable footwear such as black pumps or trainers.
Written or verbal explanation from you should be given to the class teacher, prior to the PE session, if your child is not participating. It is also important to note that no jewellery is permitted during physical education sessions. If your child is wearing jewellery they will be responsible for removing and storing their own jewellery. Our advice is that children do not wear any jewellery on their P.E. days.
Reading logs and weekly spellings will be put in Home school diaries on a Monday and handed in on a Friday. Maths homework will be found in the KS2 Maths Workout booklets. Children will be asked to complete one workout each week. Children are expected to bring their home school diaries into school everyday so that reading can be logged. Don’t forget to sign your child’s reading record page to show that they have read at home!
