In Mathematics, we will continue building on our skills in addition and subtraction before moving on to multiplication and division. We will focus on the 2, 5, and 10 times tables, using these to solve problems and develop fluency.

In PE, we are thrilled to have 10 weeks of swimming lessons across both half terms. Children will build water confidence, practise simple swimming strokes, and learn vital water safety skills.

In Computing, we will be working on effective questioning and exploring how to use technology safely, with a focus on online safety.

During PSHE, we will discuss safety and the changing body, helping children understand how to keep themselves safe and begin exploring age-appropriate concepts about body awareness and growth.

In D&T, we will be investigating mechanisms, learning how wheels and axles work. The children will design and create their own moving models using these techniques.

It promises to be a busy and engaging half term full of learning and discovery!
