1st Half Autumn Term
In Literacy we will be reading the Jolly Postman. Following our book Jack and the beanstalk we will be role playing the story. After Goldilocks and the three bears we will be writing a response to the story. In Mathematics, our focus will be counting and recognising numbers. We will be making pictures with shapes. During Understanding the World, we will be focusing on similarities and differences in the natural world and investigating what happens during autumn.
2nd Half Autumn Term
During this half term, in Literacy we will be making an invitation to a ball. During phonics our focus will be rhyme and rhythm. In Mathematics, our focus will continue to be counting and recognising numbers. We will also build with 3D shapes. During Understanding the World, we will be focusing on planting beans and seeing how they grow.
