Nursery Forest School Spring/Summer 2019
Wednesday morning
Session 3 – Family fun/Nature Hunt
We invited our families and friends to come and share our forest school experience.
Working together we search the site collecting items on our list. Using our senses to look, listen, touch and smell.
Gathering at base camp to enjoy a chat and a well-deserved hot chocolate.
Session 2-Where’s my dinner! The Hungry Caterpillar
Today we are:
Becoming more independent as we get ourselves prepared for the session.
Looking at similarities and differences within the life cycle of a butterfly.
Role-play the life cycle of the butterfly.
Helping to feed the caterpillar by collecting as many leaves as we can. Estimating and then carefully counting how many leaves we have found.
Exploring and building confidence in a new environment.

Off on a new adventure to forest school what shall we see? what shall we see?
Session 1 – Get ready, Be Safe and Explore.
Today we are:
