Nathaniel Kwofie
Parent Governor
I am an ex British Army serviceman, currently working as a Health and Safety Compliance Officer at the University of Wolverhampton.
The skills I developed during my time in the Army such as attention to detail, teamwork, and discipline coupled with my current role in ensuring the safety of students, staff, and visitors through compliance with regulatory requirements, are all directly transferable to the role of a parent governor.
As a parent governor, I view the role as being a critical friend providing constructive challenge and support to the school’s leadership to help drive improvement. This ultimately contributes to creating a positive and enriching experience for all pupils.
Above all, I am a parent who strongly believes that the responsibility for a child’s education is a shared partnership between parents and teachers. Together, we help shape well rounded individuals, ready to make meaningful contributions to society and the wider world.
