William Reynolds Primary School and Nursery

Visitors from RAF Cosford came to help up with our Design Technology unit, where we learned about Pulleys and Levers. They showed us how both worked, encouraged us to think about examples in real life, and then allowed us to use the STEM kits they had brought with them to design a pulley or lever system to lift a model aircraft, much like the engineers who are refurbishing aircrafts for the museum need to.  We had time to collaborate, build and demonstrate our designs to the group before suggesting improvements.
