Toothbrushing in Early Years    

The school nurse came to visit reception classes with

Derek the dragon. She gave a talk about the

importance of toothbrushing twice a day. Her catch phrase was ‘spit not rinse’. She gave the children examples of sugary food which can cause decay in their teeth and promoted healthy eating.
